Spring League will be run out of Oakwood Friends on Sundays.
We are using a half court 3v3 skill development model. Teams will have a maximum of 5 players on the roster and will play half-court 3 vs 3 games each session. There will be 10 total sessions all on Sundays. 3v3 is the one of the best models for teaching the game and is incredibly fun. Fewer players on the court means each player gets the ball in their hands and can better work on their skills and have more fun! Concepts we will work on are floor spacing, screen and roll, pick-n-pop, shooting, decision making, and defense.
Cost per athlete is $135 -each participant will receive a reversible jersey that is to be worn each night.
League will start March 27, 2022 and run through June 5, 2022. There will ne no games April 17th (Easter Sunday).
We offer three divisions:
Co-Ed 3-4th grade 2-3PM
5-6 grade 3-4PM
7-9th grade 4-5PM
* due to space and Covid restrictions, we will not be able to have spectators in the gym. ** athletes & coaches will follow all mask wearing guidelines that are in place at the time of the league.

Our Fall League is designed to keep your athlete playing of the top of their game going into the season. The short season covers September and October. The league is run out of Oakwood Friends School and is on Sunday afternoons only.
We are using a half court 3v3 skill development model this year. Each week we will send out a video for that week's "Skill of the Week." Each week we will practice the skill before games. Then, your child will be ranked on how often they use the skill during game play. We will have end of year awards for who has used that "Skill of the Week" the most. Teams will have a maximum of 5 players on the roster and will play half-court 3 vs 3 games each night with playoffs the last week of the season.

What we are looking for in our coaches are hard working dedicated people who love working with kids.
Our program is very fortunate to have many of the local college involved either coaching teams or in the gym observing practices. What that means for you is a wealth of resources to help you provide a great experience to our athletes.
Coaches will be expected to learn and implement the system we have in place throughout our program and to provide short and long term practice plans to the program directors prior to each practice.
Registration is live on the Camp tab. WE have limited spots of 40 athletes for each week. This year camp is CO-ED!!!
